Ike Olson is a Pennsylvania-state certified arborist who loves his work. Ike earned a Bachelor's degree in Tree Management and Forestry from Syracuse University. He is also an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA)-certified arborist since 1991.

Ike is known for his dedication to his field as well as his creative mushroom stump sculptures after each tree removal. In addition to tree removal, Ike also specializes in the fine pruning of trees including ornamentals. He works on all live trees without the need for using tree leg spikes! Spikes cause injury to live trees.

Legendary Wood Carving Sculptor

After each tree removal, Ike enjoys giving back to his customers by creating a complimentary mushroom stump carving. Ike's mushroom stump sculptures (well over a thousand) have become so well-known in the Pocono Area that they have taken on a legendary status.

"Ike Olson of Keystone Tree Specialists carves the stump of a hemlock tree on Friday into one of his signature mushrooms at Saint Paul's United Church of Christ in Swiftwater. Olson volunteered his time, as he does every year on Arbor day, and removed the tree at church. It was cracked in two and was in danger of falling."
